Rebecca Jacobson, President of Astrata, Named to National Quality Forum (NQF) AI in Quality Measures Technical Expert Panel

October 31, 2023, PITTSBURGH, PA — Astrata has announced that their president, Dr. Rebecca Jacobson, has joined named National Quality Forum (NQF) AI in Quality Measures Technical Expert Panel a Natural Language Processing (NLP) powered platform that helps Health Plans move to year-round, prospective HEDIS® medical record review.

“I am honored to be named to the National Quality Forum (NQF) AI in Quality Measures Technical Expert Panel (AI TEP). The mission of the AI TEP is to develop a framework and guiding principles for the use of AI (including NLP and Machine Learning) in national quality measures. It’s wonderful to join such an accomplished group of colleagues and to have the opportunity to help NQF. This is a topic that I am deeply passionate about and have worked on for more than six years, first at UPMC and now at Astrata, Inc! I know from practical experience that NLP can help us move to near real-time, population-wide quality measurement – a critical step to success in value-based care.”
