New Product Alert – Readiness Assessments

In this month’s blog, we roll out our newest offerings, Readiness Assessments for both Prospective HEDIS and Digital Quality.  This could be your critical first step in preparing your organization with a strategic transition plan that positions you for future success.

As health plan quality teams navigate the new digital HEDIS playbook, we’re seeing more and more need for expert guidance as you build the business case to share with your health plan leadership, including Finance. This month Astrata is kicking off a brand-new offering to get you there faster, by helping you to:

  • Quantify the value of moving to prospective HEDIS and digital quality
  • Build out a quantitative ROI to communicate to your leadership
  • Understand what data you already have that could support prospective HEDIS, and what other potential sources can be tapped
  • Strategically identify opportunities that would be most impactful

These brief assessments come in two flavors: Prospective HEDIS and Digital Quality Readiness.

Option 1 – Prospective HEDIS Readiness Assessment

Designed to position health plans to excel in strategizing their transition to prospective, year-round HEDIS, this assessment offers the support of Astrata in architecting a new workflow and data flow, analyzing your QBP opportunity from prospective HEDIS, calculating potential costs with and without technology support, investigating potential data sources along and assessing suitability, and developing an implementation charter that can be used as an initial blueprint for process and technology change.

Option 2 – Digital Quality Readiness Assessment

Designed to assist you in understanding how to make the transition to fully digital quality measurement by 2030, this assessment offers the support of Astrata to understand the benefits to your HEDIS rates, analyze the overlap with CMS interoperability standards and align your departmental needs with broader IT initiatives, and develop a roadmap that will help you move steadily forward as the industry transitions to use of clinical data, digital quality measures, FHIR and CQL.

Why start here? In our experience, one of the hardest aspects of making any transition is the high degree of uncertainty that arises from working with technologies and processes that are entirely new. We’ll help you mitigate that quickly, and empower you to advocate successfully to your leadership team in this time of rapid change.
